STUCCO

Interstate Painting offers stucco repair and painting. Stucco is a popular material used in construction for its durability and resistance to weathering. However, over time, the surface of the stucco can become discolored, cracked or faded, which can detract from the overall appearance of the building.

IPC will typically start by inspecting the surface of the stucco to determine its condition. Then of course a thorough cleaning which our team may use a pressure washer or other specialized cleaning equipment to ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and ready for repairs and painting .

Once any necessary repairs have been made, we are ready for finish coats. The best finish coat is Loxon XP. With a two-coat system it protects against wind driven rain, highly resistant to alkali and efflorescence, mildew resistant, and provides a breathable waterproof finish that will give you years of durability. It can also span small cracks and crevices to give a smoother finish. Or you may choose to use a more economical solution of a primer and a quality acrylic latex paint.

Finally, IPC will inspect the stucco surface to ensure the paint has been applied properly and that there are no areas that need touch-up. The work area will be cleaned and any materials or equipment used during the project will be removed.

Overall, stucco painting is an important service offered by IPC to help maintain the appearance and durability of buildings constructed with stucco. It requires specialized knowledge and expertise to ensure the paint is applied properly and provides long-lasting protection against weathering and other damage.
